April Prayers

April 1

Lord we pray for our family members and friends that are living a homosexual lifestyle, and those that are gender confused. Lord give us wisdom to hold onto our convictions while we love on them. We pray they would be set free and surrender to You. In the name of Jesus we pray.

April 2

Abba forgive us as we are a complacent people. Revive us Lord as those in the early church who were not afraid of persecution and were bold in sharing the gospel. Fill us anew Lord; we ask in Jesus’ name. Amen

April 3

Lord may Your words be our language. Lord fill our minds with Your words that they would flow out of our lips. Oh that our words would no longer come from us but from You. In Jesus’ name we pray.

April 4

Lord God some of us have children in the public school system. Incline us to be diligent in knowing what our children are being taught. Give us wisdom and courage to stand up against the enemy that has slithered its way into these schools. In Jesus’ name we pray.

April 5

Dear Lord, let us be an example of what life is in You. That others may see You in us and want to know You. In Jesus’ name. Amen

April 6

Oh Father open our hearts so much that we can see Jesus interceding on our behalf. Oh to see this and believe this what a different mindset would we have when troubles and trials come. Amen

April 7

Creator of heaven and earth, forgive us when we worry about our problems. For we know You are the God of the universe. You are greater than our troubles and You care for us. Amen

April 8

Thank You Lord for being so generous to us. You abundantly bless us with Your love, Your forgiveness, Your protection, Your provisions that we need. You are constantly filling our lives with hope and peace. Thank you.

April 9

Prick our hearts Lord when we are going our own way and have abandoned our walk with You. Restore to us the joy of our salvation and fill us anew with Your Spirit. In the mighty and Holy name of Jesus.

April 10

Father sometimes in the waiting we can feel abandoned. The quietness can truly darken our minds. Lord empower us to not fall into temptation and to keep strong in our faith as we wait for the answers to our prayers.

April 11

Lord when we are in anguish from pain of body, remind us of the cross and what You bore to save us. Nothing we go through compares to Your agony. Strengthen us during these times Lord to endure. In the healing name of Jesus we pray.

April 12

Thank You Father for the creation of a new day. Help us to see Your marvelous creations all around us, when our eyes are clouded by self. When we see the works of Your hands we are in awe of Your masterpiece Lord.

April 13

Lord thank You for the gift of eternal life. Forgive us when we think of it as a prize. For we have done nothing to earn it or even deserve it. It is all You and what You have done. Amen

April 14

Father there are times we may feel lonely even when we know You are here with us. Sometimes we just long for a hand to hold and no one is there. Help us Lord to reach out our hands to others and not focus on ourselves. In the name of Jesus we pray.

April 15

Help us Lord when we are bombarded with Satan’s tactics. When our minds start to doubt what we know is truth and right. When we question if we are truly Yours. Lord remind us that we are Yours today and forever and nothing and no one can take us out of Your hands. In Jesus’ name we pray.

April 16

Heavenly Father You formed us perfectly in Your image, but we have de-formed ourselves by our sins. Forgive us Lord for our foolishness. In Jesus’ name we ask.

April 17

Lord thank you that You love us to the point of dying for us. Sometimes it’s too much to grasp how can this be. All we can do is raise our hands in gratitude, in awe of this truth. Thank You our Abba, thank You.

April 18

Father You are the God who sees. You see our pain, our sorrows, our grief. You see our needs, our frustrations and our innermost thoughts. You see our true selves. And in all of this You cradle us under Your wings with so much love and compassion and forgiveness. Thank You Lord.

April 19

Lord our desire is to walk with You, not to leave Your side. To be so close to your heart and hear Your words so clearly. To talk to You all day long. That we would be a people that would be said of, “They walked with God”. Amen

April 20

Recall to our minds Lord Your promises. Help us to remain in them as we live our lives and can find ourselves drowning in fear and hopelessness. Your promises are true and have never failed us. In Jesus’ name we pray.

April 21

Some of us Lord are at a crossroad. We need Your direction to know what to do. We need to make life decisions. We are trusting in Your leading. Help us to wait patiently for Your answer and not go ahead of Your will. Amen

April 22

Help us Lord to trust You and You alone. To be able to say, “I don’t know what is going to happen or when or how, but You Lord know and in this we find rest”.

April 23

Lord when we are anxious, pull us back to our safe place, which is in Your presence. No where else do we want to be. For in Your presence is peace and hope and rest.

April 24

Lord remind us of 1 Corinthians 4:7, “What do we have that You have not given to us”. Make us generous Lord, with hands that give and hearts that are joyful in doing so.

April 25

Lord thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit. Oh may we be bold to share Him with others. That the world would see the light of the Holy Spirit in us, abd with these there would be an awakening to those around us. In Jesus’ name we pray.

April 26

Thank You Father for choosing us, for adopting us into Your family. Thank You for grafting us in and calling us Your children. Thank You that we now can call You our Abba and rush to Your throne and sit at Your feet with our prayers and supplications and You hear us. Thank You for we are now united with Jesus. Amen and amen

April 27

You Lord are our shield and our protector, You are our strong tower and our defense each and every time. There is no pause in Your defense, there is no maybe’s. There is, ALWAYS with You. Incline our minds and hearts to believe this for we can be a people who can forget this and fall into fear. In the mighty name of Jesus we ask.

April 28

We desperately ask that our prodigals would come to their senses and run to You, for we know Your arms are open waiting for their return. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen

April 29

Lord we are so blown away that You even care about the small stuff in our lives just as much as the big stuff. Thank You for this. You know each of our hearts and each of the small stuff in our lives. We lift them to You Lord and we thank you for what You are doing and what You are going to do.

April 30

Lord we end this month just wanting to praise You and give You glory for You deserve nothing less. We shamefully confess that we fall short in honoring You and spending time loving you and praising You through our worship. May You always be glorified through our everyday lives. In the name of Jesus we pray.
