May Prayers
May 1
Lord help us to live each day with such faith and such total trust, that others will know You are with us in all that we do.
May 2
Lord God, help those of us who are single, to have patience and discernment as we wait for the one You have for us. Oh that we would not go ahead of Your perfect plan. In Jesus’ name we pray.
May 3
Help us Lord to move on from our pasts. Sometimes they seem as if they still have a hold on us. Give us the strength to let go and look forward to the new life You have given to each of us. In Jesus’ name we pray.
May 4
Lord, may we not put our faith in doctors, medicines or even Google. For it is You our healer. Our Jehova Rapha, we know You do use doctors, medications in our lives to bring healing, but our faith needs to be in You. Amen
May 5
We pray for forgiveness Father when we want to take control of our lives. Oh that we would remove our hands from them and just have patience to wait on You and see Your purpose for us. Amen
May 6
Thank You Father for the gift of the lives You’ve given to each of us. May we ever be grateful for the blessing of family and friends. Thankful for the abundance of grace mercy and love You pour out upon us. Amen and amen
May 7
Lord we cling to the promise that You will never leave us or forsake us. Thank You that even when we fall in sin You do not leave. Even when we fall so short of who we ought to be You do not forsake us. Thank You!
May 8
As this day begins, we all come before You and lift up all our thoughts and plans we have for today. May everything be done with Your blessings, and may we never do anything out of Your plans. In Jesus’ name we ask.
May 9
Lord some of us are holding onto bitterness, anger, hurts and unforgiveness. Help us to let these go and allow mercy, peace, joy, forgiveness and love fill the places that the ugliness once lived. In Jesus’ name we pray.
May 10
Lord there are times when we feel You prompting us to say something or give something to someone. We never want to miss that. Help us to want to follow Your gentle leading. For being used by You to meet another’s needs brings us so much joy.
May 11
Father when we are tempted to lose hope, when we think nothing good is ever going to happen, remind us Lord of Your goodness and faithfulness. Help us Lord to lay down our worries and simply believe in Your sovereignty. In Jesus’ name we pray.
May 12
Lord help us to forgive others as You have called us to do. It can be so difficult at times as we allow bitterness and anger to grow and fill our hearts. Give us the strength to forgive, give us the desires to forgive. In Jesus’ name we pray.
May 13
Lord, when we see those who are begging for money on the street corners, incline our hearts to stop and love on them. We pray oh Lord that we would not walk by without reaching deep in our pockets to help whether with money, food, clothing. To show them they are not forgotten, they are loved by a loving God.
May 14
Thank You Lord, that we can cling to You at any time. You are right here with us. We do not have to wait for a specific time of day to come to You. You are always available to take us in Your arms and hear our prayers.
May 15
Father we know without faith it is impossible to please You. We pray Lord that You fill us with this faith, for it is our desire to please You. In Jesus' name we pray.
May 16
O Lord forgive us when we manipulate Your word to fit our wrong beliefs. Help us to see the truth in Your word, that sin is sin. In the name of Jesus we ask.

Lord forgive us for our lack of faith. For the times we are fearful about our futures. Help us Lord to rest in Your faithfulness for You are a good good Father. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen

Dear Lord, You have given each of us gifts to use for Your kingdom. Things You have individually called us to do. Father we confess there are times we don’t feel qualified to do Your work. Remind us Lord it is none of us, but that it is the Holy Spirit working through us.
May 19
Our Lord in heaven we bow down before You and worship You. We lift our praises and thanksgiving to You. You are holy and mighty, You are perfect and merciful. There is none like You. We love You Lord God. We love You.

Lord help us to trust that You have a purpose in our trials. To rest in the knowledge that You only want the best for us. In Jesus’ name we pray.
May 21
Father turn our hearts toward You Lord. May our eyes be focused on Your face. Our ears listening for Your voice. Our hands clinging onto Your hem today and always. We ask in the Holy name of Jesus.
May 22
Lord when we remember the goodness You’ve poured out upon our lives in the past, it gives us courage and hope. Lord quicken our minds to remember those days so that when we fall into days of uncertainty we can rest in Your goodness. Amen
May 23
Father forgive us when we fight so hard for things to go our own way. We know that You have a way already planned that is perfect. Amen
May 24
Lord we know You dwell among Your people. Oh Father may our unsaved family and friends be saved today so that they too may be Your people. In Jesus’ name we pray.
May 25
Oh Lord our hearts are prone to wander. Please ground us in Your word that we would remain faithful till the end of our days here in earth. In Jesus' name we pray.
May 26
Help us Lord to see where we have falsely accused others or blamed someone for what we are going through. Give us eyes to see when we are the problem and not the other person. In the name of Jesus we pray.
May 27
Father help us to respond to trials with strength, courage and peace. Oh that we would not stumble and respond with our flesh but to trust You and Your sovereignty. Amen
May 28
Lord God, we as a people stand with Your Israel and pray for their protection from their enemies. Be their Iron Dome so no weapon formed against them can penetrate. We pray for their salvation, may they come to know Jesus as their Messiah. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray.

Holy holy Holy are You Lord. There is no one else like You. We praise You with all that we have. We worship You and You alone. You deserve all honor and glory. We love You Lord, we thank You Lord. Amen

Father we lift up those women who we know that are longing for a child. We pray You will meet them in the waiting. We pray You touch their wombs and fill their arms with a child. You know their hearts and hear their cries. Be merciful Lord we ask in Jesus’ name we pray.

Shake us up Lord, shake us up. Revive us and awaken our minds and our hearts as there are some of us who have become dull and complacent. Restore the joy of our Salvation. We ask in Jesus’ name.
